Allegheny Window Cleaning Inc.

Allegheny Window Cleaning, Inc. was founded in March of 1984. We specialize in commercial and high rise window cleaning services. We are founding members of the International Window Cleaning Association and members of the Scaffolding Industry Association. We are trained through the IWCA training program and meet all OSHA compliance training. All of our employees have criminal background checks and government clearances. We ensure we have a drug free work environment where our employees routinely pass drug screenings. We pride ourselves on safety and excellent dependability.

We have been in the high rise window cleaning business for over 35 years. The buildings we service range from ground level work to 60+ stories. Some of the services that we provide include suspended scaffolding, rope descent systems, ladder work, JLG man lifts, atrium lifts, and bucket trucks. We are a full-service commercial window cleaning company and have provided services for construction cleaning jobs that have been over 1 million square feet.

We have Act 34 background checks for working around children in sensitive sites (Children’s Hospital), state police background checks, pre-hire physical and drug testing, TB tests for working in hospitals, 5 year federal clearances for working at government sites.

All of our employees go through annual IWCA training, confined space, suspended scaffolding, rope descent systems, fall protection, self-rescue and JLG training for our aerial lifts. Daily toolbox meetings are held as well as monthly safety meetings. We provide written work plans for each job to ensure a safe site and a safe working environment.

By building a strong, respectful and hard-working team. Having our staff consist of 30% of military veterans has also been very helpful in keeping this culture alive.
